From June 30 – July 4, the Davao School for the Blind Working Committee embarked on a meaningful four-day mission to Singapore as part of the preparations for our upcoming 45th Anniversary Celebration in February 2027.
The trip allowed us to explore immersive experiences from the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicap (SAVH), Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Dialogue in the Dark and Nox’ Dining in the Dark. More than just gathering insights, the journey deepened our appreciation of innovative approaches that promote inclusion and highlight the abilities, realities, and aspirations of persons with visual impairment.
What began as a study tour became a truly transformative experience — one that will shape how we operate DSB with purpose and impact.
